B.Sc., Dialysis Tech
B.Sc., Dialysis Tech is a course designed to enable students to gain requisite skills for carrying out dialysis in critical conditions such as renal dialysis, hemodialysis. Dialysis technicians generally work under a physician supervision, usually in a hospital, clinic or home-dialysis program.
Students will be taught and trained to monitor and operate dialysis machinery, which removes waste and excess fluids from the blood of patients whose kidneys are no longer functioning properly. In addition to preparing patients and monitoring dialysis treatment, students will also be trained to prepare post treatment reports. They also work on protocols for equipment evaluation and training materials for patients and staff.
